The OSC will once again be offering a surgical skills course for Chiropodists. Our last course sold out very quickly and we will only be able to accommodate 40 registrants.

Course Overview:
Review skills and techniques, hands-on cadaver lab training and case studies for the following procedures:
- Injecitons into the foot of different substances
- Mucoid Cysts removal
- Lipoma removal
- Granuloma removal
- Scar removal
- Winograd procedure
- Simple excisions
- Wart excisions
- Mortons neuroma nerve decompression - Kobygard and 64 blade procedures
- Tendon transfer and lengthening

Ajai Rooprai is the owner and CEO of the Foot Health Clinic and Orthotic Center. He has 22 years of experience in both private and institutional settings and was the clinical coordinator for Chiropody program from 1998 to 2006. Ajai is currently affiliated with one the leading academic Family Health Teams in Toronto and has extensive experience in soft tissue surgical procedures. He is a member of CAWC, OSC and CFPM.
