Job Description / Duties

-Completes patient assessments, recommending and implementing treatment plans while providing exceptional patient care and therapeutic intervention based on assessments, data, etc.
-Analyze patients care for disorders associated with, but not limited to, disease, infections, injury, routine or diabetic care.
-Diagnose, treat, and recommend options to relieve patient pain and discomfort.
-Has up-to-date knowledge on wound management and care.
-Assess and prescribe patients for custom orthotics.
-Advise patients on health and lifestyle benefits to aid in their treatment to regain active daily living.
-Consults with other allied health care professionals within the clinic to develop treatment plans for clients.
-Assessment and foot care of various foot disorders/conditions including functional and structural abnormalities, treatment of warts, corns, callouses, blisters, ingrown and fungal toenails.

Qualifications / Required Skills

-Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO)
-Proof of valid liability/malpractice insurance
-Strong oral and written communications skills
-Strong and dedicated work ethic

Salary: $80-120 an hour

Gerrard Square is a busy mall with heavy foot traffic brought in by anchor stores such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Planet fitness, LCBO, and Food Basics to name a few. Health care providers include: physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, psychotherapist, naturopaths,, dieticians, and osteopaths.
