Job Description / Duties
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education/counselling and other primary clinical foot care activities to the full scope of Chiropody practice and according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
• Provide thorough and timely foot care for our clients which includes but not limited to: routine foot health checks and foot care; wound care and offloading techniques; toenail surgery interventions; verrucae treatments; compression stocking therapy; shoe fitting &modifications; perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe and modify custom foot orthoses.
• Committed to ongoing clinical education, training and upkeep of administrative items
• Daily completion of patient charting and documentation.
• Make referrals to internal and external services and advocate on behalf of clients as appropriate
• Participate in occasional team and staff meetings
• Maintain competence and license to practice as required

• License/registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario with current CPR and basic first aid
• No de-listings from insurance companies and must hold valid Professional liability insurance
• Willingness to work as a team and have a balanced portfolio of patient care.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and bring a high level of integrity to the job.
• Communicates effectively with all team members, shows interest in building community capacity, and an open-minded and understanding attitude toward the public.
Additional Information
Salary: 4 days(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)-32 hours weekly, no weekends
• Employed position: EI, CPP Deductions & Taxes remitted to CRA with biweekly
• ESA Statutory Holidays paid; 3 weeks paid vacation per year ; paid sick days
• Funding available for continuing education for employees
• Patient loads, marketing support, and administrative services are provided
• Competitive Salary at $$75,000.00 to $100,000.00
• Opportunity to own shares or purchase practice
