Job Description / Duties
Part-time permanent chiropodist.
Qualifications / Required Skills
1. Graduated from an accredited school of chiropody and be licensed by the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
2. Has a minimum 2-year experience in the field in a primary care setting an asset. New graduates will be considered.
3. Skills/experience to fulfil major functions of role: assist in managing foot disorders, assess, diagnose, prescribe, and carryout treatments related to foot.
4. Perform and maintain best practices for cleaning, disinfecting and sterilization of medical equipment and workplace.
5. Skills/experience in providing educational sessions of a preventative nature.
6. Strong communication, organizational, and issue management skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, within the inter-disciplinary team setting and with clients and community members.
8. Supervision of others: students, as mutually agreed by Chiropodist and WCHC Management Team
9. Strong facility with computer; previous experience with electronic medical records would be an asset.

Salary: Salary of $ 61,611 - $74,129.00 per year (pro-rated to working status)

Woolwich Community Health Centre (WCHC), a multi-site health centre with locations in St. Jacobs, Wellesley, and Linwood requires a Chiropodist. This position is part-time permanent for 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE). The Chiropodist will develop and maintain a full range of chiropody services to WCHC and sustain therapeutic relationship with clients and is primarily based out of the St. Jacob's location.
