Job Description / Duties

• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education/counselling to the full scope of Chiropody practice and according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
• Provide thorough foot care
• Perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe and modify custom foot orthoses.
• Committed to ongoing clinical education, training and upkeep of administrative items
• Daily completion of patient charting and documentation.
• Make referrals to internal and external services and advocate on behalf of clients as appropriate
• Maintain competence and licence to practice as required
• Great communicator and interpersonal skills

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Valid registration and be in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO).

• Have BOTH prescription and injection privileges per the COCOO.

Treatments offered include: foot care, custom foot orthotics, ultrasound, laser, shockwave therapy, wart treatments, foot mobilization therapy, exercise rehab, nail procedures, and other soft tissue procedures such as needling. Mentorship is available!
